Pizza 4 U finished up the last regular season game just as strong as the started out pounding out 14 hits in just 4 innings. Leading the way for Pizza 4 U was Zach Akers 3-3 (3 singles), Mike Kelley 2-2 ( 2 Singles), Jonny Butler 2-3 (2 Singles), Joe Butler 2-3 (Double, Single), John Wheaton 2-3 ( 2 Singles), Brandon Brodzinski 2-3 (2 Singles)and also adding a hit was Bailey Dillon. Pitching a 2 hit Victory were Zach Akers, Brandon Brodzinski, John Wheaton and Joe Butler. For CARCARE Collision Centers Nate Vicini doubled and Gavin Campbell added a hit. Leading hitters for Mickey D's was Jon McAsey (3-3 with 2 3B) & Drew Turek (3-3 with 2 3B). ON the mound for Micjey D's was Dylan Pickett, Dakota Jermin and Jon McAsey. Kevin Phillips led the way for Employee Benefits with 3 hits. Brandon Stang also added 2 hits. ON the mound was Connor Banasiak, Ryan Bader, Phillips, Austin Sims and Stang.

Integrity Restoration 8, Firepaintings 2
Integrity Restoration continued with strong end-of-season pitching by limiting a feisty Firepaintings team to only three hits. Integrity pitchers were Nick Stallion (2 IP, 5 Ks), San Siesser, Dan Beausinb (2 IP, 6 Ks, 0 ER), and closing the deal, Tyler Fitzgerald facing the minimum 3 batters in the sixth inning. Pitchers for Firepaintings were Eddie Sandal (2 IP, 5 Ks), Zack Figura and Andrew Zurawski. The Integrity Restoration hitters pounded out 10 hits, led by Matt Brozovich with two triples while going 2-for-2 for the day. Tyler Fitzgerald and Nick Stallion were both 2-for-3, each hitting a double and a single, while Ethan Milles, Dan Beaudin, Jake Strezo and Sam Siesser all added singles. For Firepaintings, Carson Oughton hit a triple while going 2-for-2 and Eddie Sandal also added a hit.

Leading the Troutman hitting attack were Danny Devine 3-3, Matt Spalding 2-3 w/Double, Larry Roberts 2-2, Bryce Dixon 2-2, Jon Mirabal 2-3 w/Triple and Spencer McCabe 2-3. Zach Troutman, Tony Allen, Alex Roop and Andrew Jepsen also had hits. All Star Shoes hitters were Harper, Close, Conway, Cochran and Polaine. Winning pitchers for Troutman were Matt Spalding, Tony Allen and Danny Devine.

For Baar, Jacob Doster and Luke Brozovich each had 2 doubles and a triple. Gage Martin (2doubles), Joe Marco, Jake Scheidt and Matt Clark had 2 singles. Alex Keener (4 walks). Pullara Construction pulled out a great win with hits from Ryan DiBiase, Trevor Turnell, Desto'n Martin, Kyle Markiel, and Ryan Pullara(including a triple).Pitching the win were Ryan DiBiase, Ryan Pullara, Owen Hutto, and Desto'n Martin. Greenscape played well despite the loss, including a great hit by D.J.Christenson.

CARECARE Collision Centers was able to combine 11 hits and a team effort on the mound for the victory. Leading the way in hitting for CARECARE with 3 hits each was both Brad Daniel (2 HR's,single, 4 RBI's) and Gavin Pfieffer (Triple, 2 singles, 2RBI's). Nate Vicini, Jordan Missig, Danny Walter, Kevin Sheridan, and Luke Hermann (Double) also added hits to cap off the hitting attack. Brad Daniel, Gavin Pfieffer, Danny Walter, Jordan Missig, and Gavin Campbell pitched a combined win. Garrett Harper and Aiden Polaine had hits for All Star Shoes, and Garrett Harper, Aiden Polaine, and Alex Moretti combined on the mound. Both teams played a good game defensively.

Mickey D's 6, Channahon Family Dentistry 5

On the mound for Micjey D's was Pickett 4 K's, Joh McAsey 3K's & Johnny Carnagio 7 K's. Channahon Dentistry was led by Steve Andreano with a long triple and Jackson Shepherd, Ryan Johnson and Nico White each with singles. On the mound was Shepherd 5 K's, Andreano 1 K, White 2 K's and Derek Malone 2 K's.

CARECARE Collision Centers combined their hitting with their glovework and pulled off a true team effort for a win. They were lead in hitting by Nate Vicini (2 singles), Jordan Missig (Triple, RBI), Gavin Pfieffer (Double, 2 RBI's), and Kevin Sheridan (Double, 2RBI's), as well as hits from Brad Daniel, Danny Walter, and Gavin Campbell. Brad Daniel, Danny Walter, and Nate Vicini combined on the mound for the win. Greenscape was lead in hitting by Blake Parzych with 2 hits, and hits from Cody Jerzyk, Dave Scott, Zach Purshey, and Terner Neri. Dave Scott, Jeremy Messer, Josh Garcia, and Blake Parzych pitched for Greenscape. The game was highlighted by a crucial catch in left field by Ben Trouvias, and a key play at third base by Hunter Chernin to solidify the CARECARE Collision defense and stop two different Greenscape rallies. Both teams played very well on both sides of the ball.

Integrity Restoration 7, Employee Benefits 2
In a close game the Integrity Restoration pitchers combined for a no-hitter. Leading the pitching effort were Nick Stallion (2 IP, 3 Ks 0 ER), Dan Beaudin (1 IP, 2 Ks), Matt Claassen (2 IP, 3Ks) and a strong closing appearance by Tyler Fitzgerald. Pithers for employee benefits were Austin Sims, Carson Barasak, Ben Jaworski and Ben Van Asdlen. Integrity Restoration pounded out eight hits led by Tyler Fitzgerald (2-for-3) and Matt Brozovich (2-for-2, 2 doubles). Integrity Restoration hitters were Nick Stallion and Sam Siesser with doubles, and Patrick Rumsey, Ethan Milles, and Dan Beaudin.

Tuesday, June 10th

For Sports Huddle, Nick Airola led the way with 2 doubles and a single, scoring three runs. Other hitters were Jeremy Kenyon (2 singles and a double)Brent Beckwith (2 doubles and a single)Dan Burdick (single)Hunter Nelson (single)Johnathon Ensing (double)and Austin Stock with a big 5th inning home run. For All Star Shoes, Grant Olsen, Sean Kilpatrick, Jacob Close and Alex Moretti led the way with singles and doubles scoring three runs. Airola, David Chitkowski, and Kenyon all pitched well for Sports Huddle.

Minooka Mickey D's 9, Firepaintings 7
Eddie Sandal pitched three awesome innings for Firepaintings against Mickey D's giving up only one hit and 7 K's. Andrew Zurawski had multiple hits and Zack Figura, Eddie Sandal, Carson Oughton and J. Ertl rounded out the hitting for Firepaintings. Mickey D's down 6 runs in the first inning never lost hope. The 6 runs they got in the 5th inning put them ahead for good. Justin Wolz bunted and with tremendous speed and great base running skills along with a throwing error made it all the way home. He scored three RBI's. Steven Schimanski, Nick Studzinski, and Connor Raske got hits for Mickey D's. Jacob Mason, Steven Schimanski (2 K's), Kyle Hennessey(2 K's), Justin Wolz (5 K's) provided the pitching for Mickey D's.

Monday, June 9th

Pizza-4-U ran their regular season record to 11-0 agains a tough Pullara construction team. Leading the Offense with 2 hits apiece were Joe Butler(double,triple), Zack Akers(triple) and Jonny Butler. Also adding key hits were Bailey Dillon(Double), Carter Dillon, John Wheaton and Nate Vaught. Pitching the victory were Joe Butler, Jonny Butler and Zach Akers. For Pullara Construction, Ryan Pullara doubled and M Pasins and T Jonik added hits.

Troutman Excavating 5, Baar Medical 4
This was a nail biter the whole game for both teams. Neither team was able to lead by more than a run during any of the six innings. Troutman scored 5 runs on 5 hits with Baar scoring 4 runs on 4 hits. Hitting for Troutman were Zach Troutman, Danny Devine, Larry Roberts, Bryson Biermann and Andrew Jepsen. Andrew Jepsen had the tying RBI and scored the winning run in the top of the fifth. Hitters for Baar were Jacob Doster(2), Luke Brozovich and Jake Scheidt. Pitching the win was Matt Spalding(2K's), Danny Devine(2K's), Tony Allen and Larry Roberts(8K's). Pitchers for Baar were Joe Marco(2K's), Andrew Schultz and Jacob Doster(4K's).

Team Green rode the backs of their pitching staff that gave up only 3 runs on 5 hits. Brandon Stang 5k's, 2 runs, 3 hits on the mound, also 2-2, 2b, 3 r, 5 sb, Carson Banasiak pitched 2 near flawless inn. 1 r,3h,bb,2k's,also 0-1 w/2bb @ the plate, 3sb, He was the beneficiary of an outstanding unassissted double play by Billy Kopca, he was 1-3, rbi, Ben Jaworski 1-2,bb, missed a home run by inches to right,rbi, Brad Vanasdlen, pitched the final 3 innings,fanning 7 of 9 hitters faced, 1-2 2b,sb Kevin Phillips 1-2 3rbi, Andrew Jacobsen 1-2 2sb,For Greenscape, David Scott started & pitched the first 3 innings, 1-3,r, sb, Mave smoked a double to center, Jordan, & Christiensen also had hits. Greenscape played very well while missing a few key players. A very well played game with little or no mistakes from either team.

CARECARE Collision Centers 14, Sports Huddle 6
CARECARE Collision Centers got back on the winning track with a 14 hit performance on Saturday. They were lead in hitting with 4 hits from both Danny Walter(2B & 3 singles w/4RBI's) and Gavin Pfieffer (2 doubles & 2 singles w/5 RBI's, and two hits from Jordan Missig 2 Singles w/2RBI's) and Nate Vicini (3B,single). Kevin Sheridan also added a RBI single to cap off the hitting attack. Brad Daniel, Danny Walter, and Jordan Missig pitched the victory for CARECARE. Sports Huddle was lead in hitting with two hits by Nick Airola (3B & Single), Jeremy Kenyon (2 Single), and hits by Jack Sullivan (Single) and Austin Stock (Double). Dan Burdick, David Chitkowski, Alec Turner, and Jeremy Kenyon pitched for Sports Huddle. This game was highlighted by a number of great defensive plays, and timely hitting on both sides.

Also adding hits for Pizza 4 U were Bailey Dillon (Triple), Zach Akers (Double), Nate Vaught (Double), Jonathon Lamas (single) and Mike Kelley (Single). Pitching the victory was Zach Akers, Jonny Butler and Brandon Brodzinski. Conner Spencer 2-3 (2 Singles) led the Offense attach for Mickey D's. Other hitters for Integrity were Patrick Rumsey (2 RBI), Dan Beaudin, Kyle Kobe and Tim Wazilewski all going 1-for-2. Ethan Milles added another hit and Sam Siesser 2 RBI. Hitters for Mickey D's were Justin Wolz, Christian Vitale and Owen Hutto all going 2-for-3, and Alex Caraynoff and Riley Vanberkarr adding singles. Integrity pitchers were Tyler Fitzgerald, Dan Beaudin (2 IP, 5 Ks), Matt Brozovich and Nick Stallion in a fine relief effort (2 IP, 5 Ks). Pitchers for Minooka Mickey D's were Steven Schimanski, Christian Vitale and Justin Wolz.

T his game was an excellent defensive battle. For Baar, Andrew Schultz, Joe Marco and Jacob Doster each pitched two great innings. Luke Brozovich, Andrew Schultz and Joe Marco each had an RBI. Jake Scheidt caught 3 balls in the outfield and doubled off a man at second in the last inning with a heads up throw to second. For Firepaintings, Eddie Sandal pitched 3 innings of no hit ball. Sandal and Figura had Firepaintings 2 hits.

Channahon Dentistry 13, All-Star Shoes 2
Well played game by both teams. Dentistry pitchers combined for a 1-hitter. At the plate, Dentistry was led by Jackson Shepherd 3-4 (double, 2 singles, 2RBIs); Nico White 2-3 (double; single; 2RBIs); Steve Andreano 2-3 (double; single; RBI), Jake Bugajski 2-3 (2 singles; RBI); Ryan Johnson, and Derek Malone had run producing hits. This was a well fought game by both teams. There were 3 lead changes during the game. For Channahon, Jon McAsey(3 K's), Drew Turek (3 K's), and Dylan Pickett (2K's) provided the pitching for Channahon. McAsey walked 3 times and scored three runs. Turek (1-2 runs scored). Logan O'Brien also got a hit and a run scored. For Minooka, Scott Schimanski(1 K), Steven Schimanski(5 K's), Justin Wolz(2 K's), Kyle Hennessey(4 K's) and Connor Raske pitching in his first Baseball Game ever(1 K) provided the pitching for Minooka. Justin Wolz(2-3), Christian Vitale(2-3),Alex Caraynoff(2-2), Riley VanDerKarr(2-2) had multiple hits for Minooka. Scott Schimanski and Kyle Hennessey also had a hit.

After All-Star Shoes got off to a quick 3 run lead, a balanced offense attack and great defense led to 10 unanswered runs for Firepaintings. Defensive highlights included Firepaintings Jeremy Ertl's great play in right field, Zack Figura's gem at short, Carson Oughton's caught stealing at second, and Eddie Sandal's 2 caught stealings at 3rd. Hitting included a 2-2 for Michael Klover (double), a triple by Peter Klepec, a double by Carson Oughton, and singles by Andrew Zurawski(2R, 1RBI), Zack Figura(2R, 1RBI), Sandal(2R, 1RBI),Cody Figura (1RBI), and Ertl. Pitching the victory were Sandal(2IP,6K's), Klepec(3IP, 1K, 0 Runs), and Zurawski's perfect 6th(3K's). For All-Star Shoes, Close had a big 2RBI single, Moretti had 2 doubles (1RBI), and a single by Conway. Good pitching by Close(7K's), Polaine(1K), and Harper(1IP, 4K's).

This was a tight game through four innings when Troutman Excavating was able to break it open with a 5 run 5th inning. In a well played game by both teams, Firepaintings jumped to a early 4 run lead and never looked back. Firepaintings was led by Eddie Sandal going 3-3(2 doubles, 4RBI's, 2 runs), Zack Figura 2-2(2 doubles, 1RBI, 3 runs), Andrew Zurawski 2-3(2 runs), and singles by Michael Klover, Cody Figura (1RBI), and Jeremy Ertl. Ertl was robbed of a certain extra base hit by a terrific catch by Pullara's Owen Hutt. For Pullara Construction, Ryan Pullara's 3-3(double) led the offensive attack. Matt Brozovich lead the Integrity Restoration attack by going 3-for-3 and sending a beautiful triple to the fence, inches from a home run. Tyler Fitzgerald went 2-for-3 (double) Patrick Rumsey, Dan Beaudin, Matt Claassen and Sam Siesser all added hits. AJ Capecci and Tim Wasilewski added crucial singles in the fifth inning, sustaining the Integrity Restoration 4-run rally. Hitters for Baar Medical were Alex Keener and Joe Marco both 2-for-3, and Luke Brozovich and Will Fick added hits. Integrity Restoration pitchers held Barr to only seven hits with Nick Stallion throwing 3 innings (5 SO, 1 BB), Danny Beaudin one inning and Tyler Fitzgerald 2 innings (3 SO). I in continuation of a called game (lightning), Employee Benefits picked up their 2nd victory. An excellent baseball game, the lead changed hands three times throughout the course of the game. Alec Turner led the way with two hits, scoring two runs for Sports Huddle. David Chitkowski also scored two runs and had a key hit. Other key hits by Dan Burdick, Nick VanMeter and Hunter Nelson contributed, but Jeremy Kenyon sealed the victory with a clutch three run home run and three solid innings on the mound. Other pitchers for Sports Huddle were Brent Beckwith, David Chitkowski and Alec Turner. For McDonald's of Minooka, Justin Wolz led the way with two hits, scoring two runs, and pitching well keeping his team in the game. Other runs were the contributions of Alex Caraynoff, Scott and Steven Schimanski. Steven Schimanski hit the ball well with one base hit, but was robbed of a second hit by David Chitkowski ending the game with an unassisted double play at shortstop. A fun, well played game by both teams.

In a game highlighted by trading runs, CARECARE Collision Centers was lead by 3 Hits from Gavin Pfieffer(2 2B's, single), and two hits by Nate Vicini(2 Singles), Jordan Missig (2 singles), and Brad Daniel (HR, Single. Danny Walter and Nate Huff each added a hit to cap off the hitting. Danny Walter, Gavin Pfieffer, Jordan Missig, and Nate Vicini were on the mound for CARECARE Collision Centers. Adding to the happy totals were Nick Stallion (2-for-3, double) and Dan Beaudin (double), Ethan Milles, Matt Claassen (double), and the previously mentioned Strezo, each adding a hit. Pullara Construction hitters were Ryan Pullara (2-for-3) and Ryan DiBiase, Trevor Turnell, Deston Martin (double), Kyle Markiel and Owen Mutto (triple) each adding a hit. Integrity Restoration pitchers scattered 7 hits total and combined for 11 strikeouts. Wow! What a game to start out the 2008 Mustang season. This game had everything great catches, great pitching and even a home run to end the game in extra innings. In the first inning Troutmans Vince Bazzorone was able to stop Mcdonald's attack in four batters. In the bottom half of the inning Logan O'Brien of McDonalds robbed Danny Devine of a certain extra base hit with a great catch in left field. Danny Devine pitched the next 3 innings for Troutman allowing McDonalds 3 runs on 3 hits and he had 3 strikeouts. Johnny Carnagio pitched a fabulous first 3 innings for Mcdonalds allowing 1 run on 2 hits and he had 8 strikeouts. Dylan Pickett pitched the next 3 innings for Mcdonalds allowing 3 runs on 4 hits with 5 strikeouts. Troutman's Larry Roberts pitched the last 2 innings of the game allowing 1 run on 0 hits with 4 strike outs. At the end of regulation the game was tied, McDonalds 4 Troutman 4. In extra innings Mcdonalds in the top half of the seventh inning McDonalds was able to score a run off of 2 key hits for the go ahead run before Roberts was able to strike out the sides. Troutman trailing 5-4 in the bottom of the seventh started off with a single by Larry Roberts followed by Danny Devine whom flied out leaving one on and one out. Tony Allen then hit a long fly ball over the head of the center fielder for an in the park, game ending, homerun scoring two runs for a Troutman win. McDonalds hitters were Jon McAsey, Johnny Carnagio, Dakota Jerman, Logan O Brien and Nick Cousineau. Sports Huddle hitters were led by David Chitkowski with 2 hits. Nick Airola and Dan Burdick also had hits for Sports Huddle. Pitchers for Sports Huddle were Alec Turnet, David Chitkowski and Brent Beckwith.

Leading the Allstar shoes' offense was Jacob Close with a triple and a hit/rbi, Mike Conway with a double and a hit/rbi, Garett Harper and Alex Moretti a hit and rbi each. A key rbi was delivered in the 5th inning by Mike Hatcher. On the mound for the win was Garett Harper, Mike Conway,Ben Cochran and Sean Kilpatrick closed the game. Employee Benefits was lead by the hitting of Ryan Bader, Carson Banasiak, Ben Jaworski, and Brandon Stang. Brad VanAsdlen, Andrew Shultz, Carson Banasiak and Brandon Stang were on the mound for Employee Benfits.

Jeremy Kenyon, Nick Airola and David Chitkowski all pitched well for Sports Huddle with Alec Turner, Nick Van Meter and Josh Gronlund getting key hits. For McDonald's, Jon McAsey, Colin Cimeroli, Johnny Carnagio and Dillon Pickett played well.

Wednesday, April 23rd: Practice Game

For Dentistry Derek Malone 2-2; Zach Kijowski 2-2 with 2RBIs; Jackson Shepherd tripled; 3RBIs. Nico White, Ryan Johnson, Steve Andreano added hits. Pitching the win was Nico White, Steve Andreano, Derek Malone, Jackson Shepherd and Ryan Johnson. For Troutman, Alex Roop was 2-2. Bryce Dixon and Matt Spalding added hits. Zach Troutman scored the lone run. Pitching for Troutman was Tony Allen, Vince Bazzarone and Larry Roberts.

Baar Home Medical 7, All Star Shoes 5
For Baar Home Medical Jacob Doster, Joe Marco and Alex Keener all doubled with Jake Scheidt getting a key single. Joe Marco 7Ks 3 innings, Andrew Schultz 3Ks, and Jacob Doster 4Ks 2 innings led the pitching effort for Baar. The highlight of the game came in the 4th inning when Jacob Close hit a grand slam for All Star Shoes, Zach Polaine doubled and Garrett Harper singled.

Tuesday, April 22nd: Practice Game

Firepainting scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to win the game. Eddie Sandal(2-3) had the game tying single followed by the game winning single by Carson Oughton. Brandon Baranski led the 10 hit attack with a triple and single with 2 runs scored. Nick Dileto(single, 2 RBI's), Zack Figura, Andrew Zurawski, Michael Klover, and Cody Figura all added hits. Sandal recorded the victory with 3K's in the 6th. Also, clutch pitching by Zurawski, Oughton, Zach Figura,Peter Klepec, and Jeremy Ertl. Greenscape was led by Josh Garcia (2-2, 3 runs), Blake Parzych (triple & single), Jake Garcia(triple), and hits by Cody Jerzyk (3 RBI's) and Drew Jordan

CarCare Collision Centers 13, McDonalds of Minooka 7
CareCare Collision Centers scattered 10 hits lead by Nate Vicini (single,double), Jordan Missig(2 singles),and Brad Daniel(Double,single. Gavin Pfieffer, Danny Walter, Gavin Campbell, Kevin Sheridan, and Luke Hermann each added hits. Danny Walter (2KO's), Nate Vicini (2KO's), and Gavin Pfieffer(5KO's)combined their pitching for the win. McDonalds of Minooka was lead with two hits from Scott Shimanski. Justin Wolz, Steve Shimanski, and Kyle Hennessey, and Kyle Davis each had hits for McDonalds of Minooka. Steven Shimanski, Scott Shimanski, Justin Wolz, and Jacob Mason pitched for McDonalds of Minooka. Both teams played well defensively in their first game of the season.

Monday, April 21st: Practice Game

Integrity Restoration 1
Pizza-4 U pounded out 12 hits in the win. Leading the attack with 2 hits apiece were Zach Akers(double and triple), Joe Butler(Home Run)and Nate Vaught. Jonathan Butler, Brandon Brodzinski, John Wheaton, Mike Kelly and TJ Dufenbach also added keys hits. Jonny Butler, Akers, Vaught, Brodzinski, Wheaton and Jonathan Lamas all combined to pitch a 3 hitter and only allowed 6 base runners all game. Nick Stallion(triple), Tyler Fitzgerald and Patrick Rumsey had the hits for Integrity.

Employee Benefits 7,

Brad Van Asdlen pitched 2 hitless innings with 4 strikeouts for the Employee team. He also went 0for2 at the plate with 5 stolen bases. Brandon Stang pitched 2 innings striking out 6, Brandon also went 1for2 at the plate with a first inning Home Run laser shot over the right field fence. Ben Jaworski 2for2 3 RBI,sb, 2runs. Austin Sims went 1for1, with a ringing double to left, also 2BB,Austin came in to pitch in relief to earn the save striking out 2 & the final out on a pop fly to left field that Ryan Bader squeezed all this after Tyler Janek of Pullara Const. sent a screaming line drive to center field for a stand-up double. Ryan Pullara started for Pullara Const. pitched well enough for a victory, he gave up 2 runs on 4 hits, rang up 5 hitters while walking none. Trevor Turnell went 0for2,BB,SB at the plate, but his pitching spoke louder than any bat, Trevor faced 6 hitters, & struck out 5. Mike Paseris 2BB,2SB Jacob Fuller 2BB, 2SB.
