The Channahon Indians earned a semi-finals berth verse the second seeded Bridgewater Americans. Channahon was comfortable wearing the visitor whites. Tyler started on the mound and pitched three scoreless innings. Joe and Blake pounded out home runs with men on base allowing the Indains to get on the board first and stay there. Jacob came in for the last three innings and followed T 2.0's lead ... No runs for Bridgewater!! The Indians advance to the Championship game to face the number one seed - California. Congrats, guys! Also, a woohoo to big Ed who was at the game looking great after a few stitches! So glad you are aok.

The Channahon Indians faced Brookline PA in the first round of Cooperstown bracket play. Larry was awesome on the mound! Congrats to Eddie on another home run! Nice job guys! Next game at 7:00pm.

The Channahon Indians faced the Dearborn Crust from Michigan in the bracket of eight. It was a tough game with no home runs this game ... A first for us here. But the Channahon bats were still hot and we ended up on top 5-1. Awesome job to Joe and Danny on the mound! Congrats to the entire team on making it to the semi-finals.

The Channahon Indians added two more wins to their pool play record finishing as the 3rd seed. The first game of the day was a slugfest with Channahon scoring 24 runs in 3 and 1/2 innings. Congrats to Eddie, Danny, Joe, and Jake on their home runs! In the second game, the Indians faced the Long Island Devils. The game started slow but the Indians kept plugging away and ended up on top 6-2. Adding home runs were Zack, Joe, and Blake. Awesome end to pool play guys!

Tomorrow we face the winner East Lansing and Brookline. Go Channahon!

The Channahon Indians continued their Cooperstown pool play against the ASAP Baseball Academy from California. The game was close through the first few innings but Channahon bats were hot and Channahon opened it up with a final scorre of 17-10. Congrats to Jake D on his rocket of a home run. Next up, the Hunterdon Hurricanes from New Jersey.

Channahon's second game today was on the dreaded Green Monster! But our bats continued to be HOT versus the Hunterdon Hurricanes of New Jersey with Blake, Tyler and Joe contributing a home run a piece and Danny pounding out not one BUT two Green Monster home runs -- the second a grand slam! Congrats on the W team. Two more pool play games tomorrow!

Sunday, June 27th
The Channahon Indians started their pool play at Cooperstown 2-0. Our first game was against the Central Jersey Stampede on the famous Green Monster field. This full-time travel team had only lost 5 games this season. The game was back and forth and ended up tied in the sixth inning. but in the extra 7th inning, Danny Devine hit Tyler Fitzgerald in to win the game. Congrats to Blake for hitting it over on the Green Monster!

Channahon's second game of the day was lucky to start on-time due to rain and a 2 1/2 hour power outage at the park. The Michigan Bulldogs were no match for Channahon today. Channahon pitchers - Danny Devine and Zach Akers - pitched a perfect game! Congrats to our pitchers and nice defense team! Congrats to Eddie, Joe, and Danny (2) on their home runs and thanks to ZW for getting each and every home run ball. Nice start guys! Two more games tomorrow!

Saturday, June 26th
The team checked into the Cooperstown All-Star Village today and found themselves in the Wade Boggs bunkhouse. The players' facility is great especially the glove shaped pool. After team pictures, we had a family BBQ and then opening ceremonies and the skills competition. We were close in the team relay but just not close enough. Congrats to Tyler who made it to the finals of the Fastest Glove (or shortstop) competition. After the scheduled fire drill and team hot dog dinner, the team turned in at a decent hour. We have an early game tomorrow at 9 am on the Green Monster! Who will be the first on our team to hit it over the fence? We will see!

Friday, June 25th
The team begins to head to Cooperstown by car and by plane. We are all excited to check into the All-Star Village tomorrow. The guys headed straight to the pool at the hotel to get all their swimming out of the way before we start playing games. Our first opponent is the Central Jersey Stampede from NY on Sunday at 9:00 am. However our first kill was made on the road by Coach Mike.
